My approach to bodywork
An integrated approach to bodywork
My approach to bodywork has been shaped by an ongoing exploration of the body through anatomy, movement, touch and energetic awareness.
My background in Remedial Massage and studies in Pilates have given me a foundational understanding of the body’s structure, anatomy and movement. They inform the way I assess, work with tissue, recognise patterns of tension and consider how the body moves and functions as a whole.
My studies in Yoga, Lomi Lomi and Reiki have continued to expand this understanding, inviting a deeper appreciation for the body’s subtle layers and the relationship between physical experience, sensation and presence. These practices have influenced the way I approach touch; with greater sensitivity, curiosity and an appreciation for the individual experience held within each body.
Together, these modalities have shaped a practice that balances clinical knowledge with intuitive listening. I value the importance of understanding what is happening within the body’s structures, while also allowing space for what may emerge through sensation, movement, stillness and touch.
I see my work as an ongoing practice of learning, listening and refining.
I am also currently studying mental health, further developing my understanding of emotional wellbeing, supportive care and the importance of creating a safe and respectful space for each individual.
Ultimately, my intention is to support you in reconnecting with your body, deepening your awareness of yourself and cultivating a greater sense of embodiment and empowerment.
